Default Weekly Image poll #19 - Spawn & Witchblade scale the cross-over Barrier

Since I liked my dumb introduction so much last time I'm gonna copypaste it wholesale; wassup famsquad, it's paneltime!

The poll saw a brand new series win last week, that's only happened once before so far this year! It's glory for now, for Death Or Glory!

What's happening this week: Isola is reprinting issue 1, always a good sign. Maestros is wrapping up a storyline, while Port of Earth begins a new one. Sleepless, Youngblood and Southern Bastards are also concluding their current storylines.

Besides those temporary endpoints though we also see two new series this week.
    1. First up is a heavy-hitter, Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin, known for The Private Eye together, are releasing two issues for Barrier this week. Described as an "unconventional drama about violence, language, and illegal immigration...with a shocking sci-fi twist". This one's releasing weekly from now on, in landscape format. Supposedly it'll never get a trade paperback either, but keep in mind these guys also said The Private Eye would never get a printed version.

    2. Here's something two decades in the making: Medieval Spawn/Witchblade. A limited series cross-over with Augmented Reality covers for 2.99 starring Image stalwarts Spawn and Witchblade, debuting with a double sized first issue? Someone break out the holo-foil!

Yeah it was awesome I was a little surprised by the ending and especially the fate of some characters.

Read just 2 comics this week, Isola and Prism Stalker. Voted for the latter. Isola still isn't quite doing it for me, although it is really gorgeous and they're aiming for a cool atmosphere here. Was hoping it'd grab me earlier, but I'm gonna give this a few more issues, there's a lot of potential there.
