Well, it was known that Jean was the ultimate host of the Phoenix and it still did her wrong. U really can’t blame Logan for taking extra cautious measures to protect the earth from the PF. It killed Jean and it could have destroyed the earth. In my opinion, Scott was being selfish and irrational. Putting the earth and humans at risk isn’t a smart move and he should’ve expected the Avengers.
1. She had no will to host it And even if it’s “that’s Scott training style” doesn’t make it any less abusive though. She’s a child. Steve would never allow that and Shouldn’t allow it
2. For this point, I believe you are insinuating that it was self defence? Well then, in that case .. why did Scott make it an underground thing. He kept it from almost everyone. He knew it was wrong and immoral and still green-lit it. Recruiting children too. Gg Summers
3. I know Namor did it. But what was Cyclops reaction? He didn’t condemn it publicly. Namor faced no repercussions for his action from Cyclops(his leader). He was still on the team. Cyclops is an accomplice
4. No, I don’t think Jean Grey killed billions willingly. But, and that’s a big but, Jean wasn’t seeking out this enormous powerful cosmic force unlike Scott. Him losing control and the Phoenix taking over is a prove of Cyclops **** up and miscalculation. And he thought a 15 years old is capable of hosting it? Really, Summers? Really?
5. That’s the point; they were seeking out this powerful force without cooperating with the avengers and then they fell flat on their faces because they were too arrogant to listen.
Captain America didn’t come to Utopia to arrest Hope. They wanted to escort her and protect her. Steve did come and talk .. diplomatically but Scott was too stubborn and filled with hatred. He didn’t listen to Captain America .. Cap had the avengers waiting incase it didn’t go well because Logan had warned him and he was right about Cyclops behaviour. Steve came in bargaining peacefully but Scott didn’t want to cooperate.
The avengers/X-Men .. literally any superhero group deal with new **** everyday. So the argument that Cyclops has an experience with the PF isn’t really a solid point because as we have seen .. he couldn’t handle it either.
I think you interpreted the whole event differently, my friend.
