Wonder Woman and families

In the current Wonder Woman comic she has suddenly acquired a brother, Jason. I am researching this storyline and trying to think whether any other character's story was hijacked by a sibling in this way. I'm posting in the Image group as I want as much information from all publishers as possible. Can anyone think of characters where the title hero is almost superseded by a secondary character?

Does it need to be family members? Cos I can think of stuff like, say, Rucka's Punisher run where the primary focus was on Rachel Alves and the NYPD Detectives and their reactions to Frank's actions.

I highly recommend this run if anybody cares. One of my favorite runs on Punisher.

Fritzi Ritz got completely superseded by her "sidekick" niece Nancy.

Popeye took over Thimble Theater. Snuffy Smith became the star of Barney Google's strip.

In my own book--Savage Dragon's son, Malcolm Dragon has become the lead character.

In the particular case of Fritzi Ritz/Nancy, from a modern perspective, it does make sense that a cute and goofy kid overtook the popularity of a "bimbo" character. But I guess bimbo characters were a thing in the 20's. Different times I guess.

As an interesting aside, Fritzi, or Aunt Fritz as she came to be known in the later Nancy comic strips, eventually wised up and became the responsible and mature adult, serving as a foil to the wacky antics of Nancy and her pals.
