    Which one is the easiest to jump into if i am not some hardcore DC fan, mostly read indie stuff?

    How similar are the different interations to the original Suicide Squad run?

    Checkmate and Suicide Squad are 2 different things.

    Read:
    - Crisis on Infinit Earths
    - Legends
    - Suicide Squad

    - Identity Crisis
    - Infinit Crisis
    - Checkmate
    - Final Crisis
    - Flashpoint

    - New52 Suicide Squad
    - DC Univers Rebirth
    - Rebirth Suicide Squad serie

    To me, since New52, Suicide Squad is awfull.
