Just because it's Kalibak, I want to say he loses.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

I mean, that's reason enough for me.

Lobo: C'mon, say it! SAY IT!

    Kalibak: un...cle....

For all that he is sometimes(always) treated as a punching bag, Kalibak is generally in the class 100 crowd and I remember him even notching up a win over Orion in early '90s new gods. Also him and Mantis double teaming kinda gave them a win over Superman in Countdown

What I'm saying is he is generally less "diet class 100" and more "worst of the regular class 100s"

Wonder Man is generally portrayed in Marvel as just under the top Class 100s. His durability is pretty great, taking shots from Abomination, Hulk, Hyperion, etc. and continuing to fight. Namor and Hercules have also talked about his hitting power as being close to Thor's. Of course, his powers fluctuate a lot and frequently.

Still, typical power level Wonder Man is probably more than Kalibak can take.

    True.

And in the last 5-10 years, didn't Wonder Man get a strength upgrade to where he is now even with the others in the Class 100? I don't think he is under them anymore.

    Win to Wonder Man.

    Win to Wonder Man.
His durability has always been good - more so than his strength.

I mean he’s always been Class 100, sure. And anecdotal comments about his strength (like the ones you reference from Namor and Herc) are nothing new - I can recall back in the 80s when he fought Thor in Death’s realm (WCA Annual #2, I think...?) and Simon himself said something like “I’m stronger than him! I can feel it!”. So yeah, there’s plenty of statements.

But unfortunately, round here, verbal statements aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

In Rumbles, you stand on your own feats (if you’ll excuse the pun... and even if you don’t). Wonder Man may have a feat recently of punching out Rulk, but given the rest of his feats, and the comparative feats of Rulk otherwise, it kinda stands out like a bit of a sore thumb.

I like Simon. Always have. And this is no slight against him or judgment on his ability to win this particular Rumble. But a mid-level Class 100 he is not. He’s the “You must be this tall to ride.” bottom bar for the Class 100 club until his feats build up sufficiently otherwise.

To be fair, I think he was powered up for the Rulk thing. I am under the impression Simon's powers go up and down a lot.

Wonder Man will probably win, but Kalibak should be able to give him a good fight.
