Not so much a parody of Gambit as a parody of characters like Gambit. Fantomex has overt nods to two famous thief characters. The name is a nod to the French crime fiction character Famtomas and his look is pretty clearly based on that of the Italian comic book character Diabolik.

I selected Wallflower and Wither....I loved Wither, especially when he became a Villain.
I also chose Synch and Skin just because their deaths were pointless and added no value to the storylines. Same for Wallflower. A fricking waste......I hate how Marvel has treated most of Nunzio and Christina’s creations.Favorite Characters: Wolfsbane, Storm, Psylcoke, Beast, Feral, Tempo, Nightcrawler, Quicksilver
