Seriously, what is it with DC and all their prequels?

If it's going to be Sean Pertwee's Alfred then I could see this working. It sounds like it will be a younger version of the character played by a different actor.
I'm assuming it will be set in the Gotham continuity because it's by the same creators, but I could be wrong.
no Chief O'Hara tv series?
Now THAT I would watch if it was in the style of the 1960s Batman.
I would watch the Alfred show but I'm not going to buy access to some obscure net site. Put it on Netflix or forget it.
I just realized Gotham has been canceled. Mixed feelings. It was ridiculous in many ways but I've watched enough to want to have seen it pan out without being rushed. But I wish DC would just do a Batman show and a Superman show instead of these shows about the grandfathers, childhoods and supporting characters.
Power with Girl is better.
Yeah, one more season of Gotham is coming.
I hope my cable system has Fox again by the time next season starts.
Here's a teaser

Pretty sure the people creating the show asked for it. Maybe the studio and network too. We get things no one asked for all the time and they become fan favorites. No one asked for Gotham or Krypton
and they became popular with a lot of people.
Gotham is in its 5th and final season. It has 12 episodes this season, 10 have already aired and 2 are left which will air April 18th and April 25th.Gothan got a final season renewal, no?
EPIX isn't a net site. It's a premium cable channel similar to HBO, Starz, etc....It's better than Starz but not as good as HBO. EPIX isn't very well-known because it's one of the newest premium channels. I had it a few years ago because they would broadcast Bellator (MMA event) commercial-free, and I think with more content. Their movie selection wasn't bad.
