Definitely didn't see this coming. Seems Kelly wasn't ready to stop writing kate yet. More importantly: MY GIRL GWENPOOL IS BACK BABY! I'm glad to see her get some play and is 80-90% of the reason I'll be getting this book. It'll be interesting to see how she functions on a team. It's too bad America has to be on the team though, I find her insufferable...

Love Thompson's Hawkeye, so I'm down to try this.

However, I'm not really down with the team. Quire is a bit overpowered for this team, and has no connection to them, while Gwenpool is a joke that was over not long after it began (for me).

I'd have much rather seen West Coast Young Avengers with more characters like Wiccan, Speed, Hulkling and Stature being involved.

Didn't think about it, but everyone has a point: this basically is a young avengers group. That's good, as I've always wanted a good modern YA book and I found the last one incredibly disappointing. I'm assuming the guy with the piercings is Kates boyfriend, but is he a super or just some guy? (didn't read Kelly's hawkeye)

Jessica Drew, Julia Carpenter, Simon, Beast, Justice or another New X-men or Young Avenger would have been a much better choice than QQ.

I'm here for Thompson & Casselli. I'm in for Kate, Johnny, America, and yes, I'm even down to see what she's got in mind for Quire.

I'm CONFUSED about Gwenpool? But I IMAGINE she's gonna be pretty dark humor comedic relief?

I'm just psyched to have Kate BACK and America being given to a capable, competent, and familiar writer who KNOWS America.

For real though, I'm super jazzed about Casseli on this. Great artist. I hope we get some cameos/name-drops from my boys down the line.
