The darkest timeline is that some Academy X character is just walking around next to Glob when the bomb goes off. Slightly less darkest timeline is if it's Mercury since she'll just reform.

This was trash but the worst part for me was Anole dismissing Eye-Boy and Nature Gorl as useless. That’s so unlike him. Also why was one Purifier a threat to those students when Quentin friggin Quire was standing right there.

If I'm not mistaken, Quentin's powers aren't working since the end of Generation X so it make sense for him to go hide with the others, he's useless against this Purifier.

Of course it might be temporary because we can see him using a tk gun on the West Coast Avengers cover.
