I'm not sure he does. While it is possible to put Darkseid down for the count I'm not sure destroying his physical body alone will do the trick

Those 3 villains also took down PC GL, power girl and Orion in the same story. Side note Justice league of America 183-185 is one of the best of those silver age team up stories. Underrated classic, everyone gets a chance to shine

Oh and Darkseid "died" in the earth 1 universe. That animated Golem thing is in the earth 2 universe
