Default New Thundercats animated series (2020)

Have you seen this video posted at Entertainment Weekly giving a sneak peek at the new series? It's taking the Thundercats and basterdizing it to appeal to the Teen Titans Go! / Adventure Time kiddie crowd.

The guy who created this new take pretty much encapsulates everything that is wrong with the Hollywood reboot mentality.

This another reason why i don't watch Cartoon Network and still boycotting once Christina Miller is ousted she is a cancer of the network when it comes of quality cartoons.

The only cartoon from the mid 80’s I liked more than Transformers was Thundercats, so I see this new version as nothing short of an abomination!

She needs to go and get someone else who cares about quality and not money.

I agree, 2011's was great and Transformers Prime with My Little Pony FIM and Voltron Defender are examples of retro cartoons done right in revival.

This seems more like a parody than a proper remake.

Couldn't they revive the 2011 show? Why do this?

It was only a failure in the sense that the network had no idea how to advertise the toys needed to keep the cartoon going.

Maybe this is just a universal law. Every decent cartoon now has to be replaced by a Teen Titans Go before it can return in its Young Justice form.
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not
