    So this is interesting

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse#1 preview (this is not connected to the upcoming animated movie and involves the main canon Spiders)

It's set on Earth 717. Peter and the Web Warriors arrive looking for Gog, the team consists of Peter, Spider-Punk, Spider-Ham, Miles and Ghost Spider. It's place in continuity is uncertain, but if it's post Spider-Geddon, Punk and Ham survive and Gwen makes her way back home to the group.

There is a thread in the Marvel forum... maybe a mod will be nice and move it?

so whenever the next Spider-Geddon happens. And it will happen: should there be an all new villain problem? The Inheritors are bound to be kind of worn-out as a concept after this.

There should definitely be a new villain, and I think it should be spider Norman. Being made aware of the multiverse makes him hungry for more power so he seeks to harness the power of the web of life for himself and make himself a spider god "whose eyes see all probabilities and to shape the web of all realities"; or whatever crazy way you want to put it. There are bound to be plenty of explicitly evil spider people out in the multiverse for him to call to his aid with promises of unlimited power or whatever evil deed makes them happy. You could even through in Spiders-Man as a conflicted villain who works with Norman on the basis of being restored back to normal and the promise that his universe will be cut off from the rest of them. The good spiders of course have to come in and stop the multiversal calamity, it'll be a good change of pace from the extinction events of spiderverse and spider-geddon.

I honestly wouldn't mind something cheesy like the Spiders vs. the Sinister 666.

That, that sounds like a remarkably cool idea. Maybe like the Spider-army's Sinister 6 but made up of nightmarefuel versions of characters and then some.

Like a Green Goblin who is literally a supernatural monster
Doctor Octopus but slowly being overtaken by an inter-dimensional tentacle monster
Venom but a Peter Parker whose mutation went way too far and his body actually does look like that (similar to what was in the original ending for Spider-man 3 and Eddie's transformation)

Or even taking it a step further and have loved ones be like a Gwen Stacy whose tragic death turned her into a vengeful zombie who lures people into traps where she then snaps people's neck or rips their heads off. Kind of like an urban legend where at that bridge on certain nights she stalks around for unfortunate souls.

The burglar who if you don't exchange something of equal value, he takes someone you love

Maybe a version of Miles Warren who produces frankenstein monsters to create his very own Spider-man and just can't get it right.

Or we get unlucky and whatever the Web Warriors face post-event will be another army of identical Electro or the Inheritors.

    Could call it Spider Wars.

I like this idea, too. Multiversal Sinister Six like in the Spider-Man Unlimited mobile game.

the next war will be X-Men vs the Spiders. the web of life is overriding every mutation and mutating the mutants into spiders causing every mutant from the multiverse to band together to destroy the web which the Spiders are certainly not allowing to happen as they know that reality itself will unravel if the web shatters so they are trying to buy time to look into the cause of the mutation by clashing with the mutated spider X-men. it will turn out that the dead inheritors will have implanted their essence in mutants after their deaths as theirs are the only bodies able to contain their essences and the weird mutation is due to the inheritors becoming more and more spider like in essence similar to karn as you are what you eat. their desire to destroy the web stems from their imperfect attuning to the web which is causing them life threatening pain. the spiders will clash with the mutant spider inheritors and when after much conflict the issue is resolved due to the spiders turning themselves into radioactive inheritors like hunting spider others(the other will be retconned to be the ultimate evolved form of spiders ) and burning out the inheritor essence in each mutant thus ending the eternal war with inheritors at last; the dark cosmic creator of the inheritors is waiting in the offing to wage war with the spiders and explain why he created the inheritors for the sequel. marvel will keep on milking the concept of inheritors till they have squeezed it dry. lol

Exactly my point. Bringing Spider Wars into the comics after 20-odd years would be incredible.

Spider-Men Vs. X-Men? No, no, we've had enough Vs. X-Men for two lifetimes! All those do is make the X-Men look like chumps and a-holes, even when the other side is blatantly wrong.

yes but that isn't going to stop Marvel from rehashing that shit again as the creative team seems to have run out of new ideas so they are running with variations of old themes. look at age of X-Man turd for example.

Is Spidergeddon #4 supposed to be out this week? I could swear it was supposed to be out alongside Spider-Force #2?
