Wolverine and Magneto

This is a question that came to me while readong the prevoew of "Hunt For Wolverine: Madripoor Mystery", does Magneto and Logan had a sort of personal feud during the comics, beyond being on opposite sides. I know that Erik took away his adamantium in "Fatal Attractions", but i'm curious is there is something other part that i don't known.

Wolverine has stabbed him several times. one of the times left him in a wheelchair.

After taking the adamantium from Wolverine's body, Logan just wanted to kill him as we saw during Magneto War. He finally had his revenge just before the beginning of the Morrison's run when he put Magneto in a wheelchair like Michael Watkins said.

But beyond that not so much, Magneto even asked him to kill a nazi for him because he couldn't do it and Logan accepted. There are some mutual respect between them but also some animosity but yeah this personal feud thing is strange.

Hmm... interesting, it sounds like their relationship in the comics is pretty much like the movies, a mix of proffesional respect and personal animosity, but nothing that you can call extremely personal. Wonder why they would suspect about him having something to do with this.

I think it's a misdirection, everything we saw in the Hunt minis is strange especially Logan's actions in both The Hunt one shot and in Claws of Killer. There is something else going on, especially if you've read the "Where is Wolverine?" pages, Marvel Legacy and Infinity Countdown Prime.

So Magneto might be involved but not the way Kitty thinks.

Logan certainly has good reason to hate Magneto since he went through a great physical and mental trauma when Magneto took the adamantium out of his body. But a lot happened after that and although one does not like the other there is a certain respect between them.

Probably Kitty suspects Magneto for thinking he would be the only one able to separate Logan's body from the Adamantium that covered him that way.

that was my thought. and Magneto (in the past) has shown remarkable genetic engineering skills and might be able to do incredible, terrible things with Logan's DNA. Maybe give himself a Wolverine-esque healing factor?
