The Transformers one I will look into. The My Little Pony I know nothing about them or their world. So I think I will not look into that.

As I said before, the GI Joe deck building game is really quite good and I'm a little upset that there are going to be people who don't give it a shot because they're not interested in the license.

The Transformers game is, for one thing, only really half a game. The Decepticon version that's coming out soon makes the competitive version a lot more complete, for one thing, allowing one player to be a Decepticon while another is an Autobot.

For the most part, I don't care for movement in deck building games. I see why they implemented it for Transformers (like I said earlier, movement is key to the franchise) but it leads to a lot of fiddly bits. Did I use all my extra movement while in vehicle mode? What about the power in robot mode? How much of my power is useable at range and how much only applies to the card I'm on?

not that it can't be fun, but you've got to be prepared to keep a lot of things straight.

Played Ark Nova yesterday. Lots of hype but I thought it's well deserved, complex but great game!

I played all the scenarios solo, just so I could create an errata for it.
The player and monster books are riddled with typos and inconsistencies.

    BAMM Unofficial Errata

A shame, really, because the game, itself, is decent.
It was just really shoddy production with the Haunt booklets.

    Quick update.

I had taken Elder Sign out because I only had Omens, the digital version.
But since I last posted, I bought a physical copy.
So I've re-added it to the list.

    Star Wars: Outer Rim
    Eldritch Horror
    Horrified
    Elder Sign
    Castle Ravenloft
    Thunderbirds

    Star Trek: The Dice Game

I also bought X-Men: Mutant Insurrection, which is a variant of Elder Sign. But it hasn't arrived, yet.

It was actually Mutant Insurrection that got me to finally pick up a copy of Elder Sign.
I really liked the gameplay, and it's been on my wishlist for forever.
I just never prioritized getting it because I had the app. And I have Eldritch Horror, which I still have expansions to get for.

But when I finally decided to get X-Men, I found a cheap copy and also saw a cheap copy of Elder Sign. I ended up spending less than $60 for X-Men, Elder Sign and Unseen Forces (the first expansion for Elder Sign). I think the MSRP for X-Men, alone, is $60.
So I had no excuse to not get the game that parented Mutant Insurrection.

Depending on how the first few games go, X-Men may replace Thunderbirds on the list.
Thunderbirds has taken a hit because it's OOP and I can't find/afford the expansions for it.
