Batman: Kings of Fear, Kelley Jones returns to Batman!

Why do I sometimes get the feeling I'm the only person buying/reading this title?

I hated Jones Batman. Great art for Swamp Thing and some Vertigo stuff though.

Yeah same here, when he's just relegated to doing covers like in Knightfall it's tolerable or for special side Elseworlds stories like the Vampire tales he did with Doug Moench I'm fine as it works well seeing Batman in a horror setting.

But when he took over art duties in the mid-90's I just tuned out all together of the Batman titles that is until Jim Lee and Hush began.

For those reading this miniseries, how's the story so far? I'm always interested in miniseries over long runs, although I typically wait for collected editions and trade paperbacks.
