Default Weekly Image poll #21 - ho-hum week of doldrum

Hey y'all, welcome to the poll! Vote for comics!

Last time around Gideon Falls won the poll, the second time already - not bad for a series with just three issues! Looks like the hype might be real?

This week is a relatively mellow one in terms of releases: Barrier and the Beef both hit their penultimate issues, and the Further Adventures of Nick Wilson come to an end. Regression is wrapping up its storyline too, but will be back I think! Oh and Skyward reprints its first issue, neat. That's it!

No new debuts this time, so I've picked the cover I liked best - Amy Reeder's take on Miley Cyrus' wrecking ball for Hit-Girl #4!

Deadly Class #34 for me. This book's been rolling since Marcus came back and now I'm even more excited to keep reading with the show's trailer having been released.

    Barrier for me.

Hit-Girl was kinda fun. But just kinda... maybe... I glimpsed into Skyward but didn't feel like I need a monthly fix. Will get the trade maybe.

I also glimpsed at Skyward, and this issue wasn't as intriguing. It delivered it's hook, but it wasn't very special, sadly.

Days of Hate was wonderful, though. Really loved this issue. When you have an artist like Zezelj, leaning on him is a smart move.

Days of Hate continues its political bent, delivers on characterization and world re-creation (no so much "building" as "re-building" from the rubble of the present). This, and Calexit, Grass Kings, and a few others feed my overlapping political and comics interests well.
