    I'm with the consensus. Marvel's got enough juice to support a group of quasi-connected cosmic titles. And in fact, they sort of had that for a bit during the Annihilation days, between Nova, GotG and the various miniseries and events they kept rolling out.

    But Nova himself? The IP doesn't have the reach.

    That's not to say the franchise doesn't have the potential, because it does. The property could be as successful as DC's Green Lantern, which has been able to support at least a couple titles for almost twenty years, and at one point a few years back was publishing something like five at once. But as it stands? Nova would be lucky to hold down a single mid-selling book.

    I really think a Nova Corps book is a bad idea for Marvel. Unless they can drastically change the concept to be something that can not be compared to DC's Green Lantern Corps. Would much rather have Nova team up with other cosmic heroes or something personally.
