Pretty sure it's a clean sweep of victories for the Marvel characters. Phantom Vs Moon Knight is the closest fight though.

Same goes for the DC characters, with Batman's gadgets being the difference against Phantom.

Not sure on this one as I don't know anything about the comic book version of Star Lord.

Mandrake is a master of illusion but Strange can do everything he can do plus just about infinitely more.

Lothar vs Luke Cage

Lothar was the world's strongest man by real life standards and probably exaggerated but Cage is way superhuman by comparison.

Phantom vs Moonknight

Minus Moonknight's equipment, not sure.

Flash Gordon vs Adam Strange

I don't think this is any contest. Flash Gordon has no chance.

Mandrake vs Dr. Fate (or more fun Zatanna)

Oh god. Mandrake is a cool character. What have you got against him?

Lothar vs Bronze Tiger

No idea.

Phantom vs Batman.

Again, the Phantom in an awesome character but I don't think he has much chance. Could be some feats I don't know about.

Mandrake is a closer match with Zatara, and even then it's just a less terrible stomp than Strange, Fate, or Zatanna.

Mandrake summons King Features' Prince Valiant.
Strange summons Marvel's Black knight.
and Fate DC's Shining Knight.
The three Knights thus do battle, who remains victorious?

Anyways, pretty sure The Phantom is the only one with competitive match ups in the OP. Fights would be close-ish but he should still lose

Flash Gordon vs Peter Quill (Star Lord)/Adam Strange

Star Lord is about as close to "street level" as a cosmic hero can get, honestly, he's basically a near-peak human with guns and a jetpack, which, is basically what Glash Gordon is. I think Quill might be able to trip Gordon up with a little trickery, but otherwise, I think they're pretty evenly matched.

The only Adam story I know is a Morrison-JLA era tale where he's basically Flash Gordon Batgod, so I'm not liking Gordon's chances here.


Mandrake vs Dr. Strange/Dr. Fate or Zatanna

Fate and Strange are way over the top for Mandrake, even in their weaker years, and Zatanna is pretty broken, she just needs a single sentence. I can't think of a good match-up off the bat for him in Marvel or DC.


Lothar vs Luke Cage/Bronze Tiger

Luke is definitely higher up the chain than Lothar, not sure about Tiger.


Phantom vs Moonknight/Batman

Phantom's strong, but I don't see him having enough to outdo either of them.

Doctor Mist was shown to be a bit of a fraud, right? John Constantine is explicitly a lower end mage. As far s Marvel goes what about Doctor Druid?

maybe mandrake could fight Jean Grey as I seem to remember him throwing mind bolts or "mental" bolts. I wonder how much phantom is ahead of Batman and moon knight in speed department. he has some decent speed feats of shooting in a blink of eye so maybeee he could shoot them but given their Kevlar armour even a blood listed morals off phantom is ultimately doing squat against them. he better pray moon knight isn't in his face cutting fetish mood. he won't care if he does or does not die looking upon him unmasked.
