    The Hildebrandts were great. This is a weird reference, but I really liked their stuff on the swimsuit issues. Their sci fi stuff is always what I think of when I think 90s Sci Fi aesthetic

    Pacheco, Coipel, Joe Mad, early-to-mid Bachalo (especially early), Kubert (forget which one...maybe both?), Garney (when his style mimics Joe Mad heavily, which might not be fair to either), Davis (when he has a bomb-ass colorist), Lee, and hopefully one day Dauterman (he’s done side work that could count for the purpose of the thread).

    Me too. Pacheco really is one of Bishop's best artists:
    His Shard wasn't bad either.

    Although Jack Kirby is usually called the King of comics, if there’s only one instance in which I think Neal Adams tops Jack Kirby, with all due respect to him, I definitely think it would be in regards to X-Men art.
