Of course I love all of the big names throughout the decades. I think the all-time #1 is John Byrne. Growing up, Jim Lee was a king, but Andy was the man to beat on the X-books while Adam and Silvestri rocked Wolverine.

Props to Bachalo for being the only artist to actually evolve. Cruz got much better but his style is basically the same, and Bill Sienkiewicz went from very good to genius, but not on the X-books.

More props to Guice for immense reliability. I wish my favorite ever, Kevin Nowlan, was more prolific.

I haven't read all of New Mutants yet, but I flipped through my books to when Sienkiewicz leaves, and it seems like the artist who came after him was decent as well? Seemed like he tried to keep a pretty similar style to Sienkiewicz? I am not sure, I only glanced.
    Was it Leonardi?

John Byrne (Not only one of the greatest X-Men artists, but greatest comic artist too.)
    David Cockrum
    Marc Silvestri
Chris Bachalo (Even though his artwork has been mediocre lately)
    Stuart Immonen
    Andy Kubert
    Frank Quietly

Land, Immonen, Acuna off the top of my head (no particular order). Mann's Age of X was wonderful too, and Coipel made AvX pretty good to look at.
Anka starting to grow on me, and I like most of Jim Lee.
    Chris Bachalo needs to stop tainting my UXM ;-;

I hate to agree with anything bad that has to do with Bachalo. So I will just look the other way and pretend I never saw or stopped to consider that you were right and that maybe his style is lacking a lot lately.

Ever since I first enocuntered his art in the Dark Avengers annual and then in Sinister Spiderman, I've hated his art. I literally couldn't believe he was the artist from Gen X when I read it was him. His Gen X Emma is lightyears away from his current 3 boob Emma.

I remember seeing the previews for some of his Uncanny issues and thinking there was more duckface than a teenager's Facebook page.

Chris Bachalo's early Gen-X stuff is amazing. The Generation Next art from AOA was the best in the whole crossover.
    Jim Lee
    Marc Silvestri
    Phil Noto
And I really liked Oliver Coipel last X-Men run. (Although it did suffer from semi-circle syndrome)
