An idea that I saw online that I found oddly appealing was Alex Mercer from the Prototype game series gets dumped into the Starcraft verse. For those unfamiliar with the Prototype games, Alex Mercer ends up fighting various virus infected and amped up creatures and every time he kills and absorbs one of them, he ends up gaining a new ability. I always wondered what kind of cool abilities Mercer would gain if he started chowing down on the different alien creatures from Starcraft.
