Crossovers that seem absurd but that you would still like to see

I know this is about dream team-ups that haven't actually happened, but I'd like to take this opportunity to point out some actually-made absurd crossovers that were pretty decent:

Magnus, Robot Fighter vs. Predator

Star Trek/X-Men (two comics and a novel)

I have those. They were good reads, IIRC. It's been a long time. I'll have to dig those out.


A not so absurd crossover possibility from the 80's: Transformers Season 1 and Inhumanoids. It becomes absurd when 70/80's cartoon Godzilla crashes the party.

I agree 100%. When I first saw that teaser trailer for the crossover, I was very excited. My excitement vanished when it became, as you call, a J-Pop Persona knock-off. There were so many options they could have taken with that game, and still could if a game like that were actually made today.

Man, I didn't even know it had come out until it was already in the states for a year. I just remember hearing about the crossover pitch and seeing a teaser, so I tried looking it up to see if it ever happened, and was totally confused. Then mildly enraged.
