X-Men/Lord of the Rings (Just to see Kitty Pryde and Lockheed in a fantasy setting).

Robocop/Detroit: Become Human (Murphy and Connor Cyborg-Android team up for the win!) In fact let's throw in I-Robot, Westworld, Blade Runner and A.I.D.A from Agents of SHIELD whilst we're here. The Androids have spoken.

Doctor Who with just about anything (There's a reason it tops fanfic crossovers).

    It's immature, it's petty, it's obscure....

... but part of me still want to see Law & Order:SVU/Dance in the Vampire Bund.

More Silver Surfer/Green Lantern stuff. I rather enjoyed the last team-up with Kyle and Norrin. Very cool.

Alien Nation X Earth: Final Conflict

Long after the Newcomers have settled in, things go back to relative normal.

Until, that is, the coming of the Taelons.

Whom it seems, the Newcomers once regarded as their Gods due to their incredibly advanced technology(apparently the Newcomers didn't listen to their Companions, misused the tech, and destroyed their own civilization...)

Now humanity is caught in the middle as the Newcomers seek to revive their ancient religion, with the Taelons actively seeking to prevent them from doing so and instead unite with Humanity towards a greater future.

While all three sides together work to repair Zo'or's mind, after he watches too many gansta rap videos while preparing to replace his father as the North American Companion, and now walks around with a sideways hat, several pounds of gold around his neck, shades on his face, a blunt in his mouth and a pair of mac10's tucked away somewhere that he's only too happy to use, sideways, out the window of his old school, pimped out Escalade...

Strat Trek TNG X 300/300 Rise of an Empire

No, the Maqui weren't that bad.

    Not at all.

Especially not when compared to the warlike, separatist colony of NEW SPARTA, all of whom have lineages which trace back to the original 300 Spartans who stood, and died, at Thermopylae!

After the colony defeats every Federation effort to re-integrate it(or even destroy it outright...) it brings its war machine to Sector 001, and unlike the Borg, actually succeed in beating the UFP down with only a small number of ships.

    The difference?

After a brief memorial and celebration in their native land, they hand the Federation back to its owners and return to further develop their homeworld.

300 years later they re-appear, the meanest bastards the galaxy has ever seen, and open up their homeworld to trade, commerce, and peaceful cooperation(the Klingons seem to welcome this, since New Sparta is a warrior colony...)

Lo and behold, a new, all-New Spartan crew is given the ancient hulk of the old Enterprise-E, now recommissioned as the USS Phalanx, and tasked with the mission of a permanent return to the Delta Quadrant!

Which, as we know, is unlikely to turn out well.

Especially with large, circular airlocks being built into the standing decks of transporter rooms, the captain's quarters, and on the bridge...

    Two parts due to length....

Well, two of the odder ones I have seen were:

    1. Pokemon/Warhammer 40K crossover - the Space Marines were going for a subtle inspection and trying not to disturb the locals, and had decided that the Pokemon world was a typical deathworld with incredibly dangerous wildlife. Since I believe this was going by the Pokemon anime, I can somewhat see where they were coming from.

    2. Neon Genesis Evangelion/Dragonball Z - a rather fun story that basically goes "Gendo's behavior and upbringing of Shinji makes perfect sense if he was actually a random Saiyan mook that survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta, and never met up with any of the other Dragonball cast afterwards. Also, Earth != Dragonball world, and Yui is a mad scientist of the nth degree."

Knights of Sidonia/Mass Effect - so, rather than the human colony of Shanxi, the Citadel Council discovers humans as they coast into the system aboard the Sidonia. A seedship five kilometers wide and 29 kilometers long.... and slower than light and with no Element Zero technology. On the other hand, the Sidonia does have particle weapons, warp capabilities, and gravity beam emitters. To say nothing of the genetics and cyborg stuff.

Macross Frontier/Mass Effect - Not too hard to do, I think. Frontier introduced Fold Faults - areas of space where fold engines do not work, and you either have to cross conventionally or use fold crystals. And that would explain why the two series have not met each other beforehand - Fold Faults are caused by the Mass Effect Relays, so the random Zentradi fleets would just go around areas of space where the Mass Effect species live and travel. Post-Frontier have the Vajra providing fold crystals, allowing the Frontier and its attendent fleet to enter Citadel space, and come into contact with them. The Frontier group are hoping to make new alien friends without shooting them first. The Citadel folks are trying to figure out who these non-Mass Effect using hicks are.

I can hear the Turians now. "Oh, great, another refugee fleet. And instead of being engineers, like the Quarians, they are apparently bards, because they keep playing music at us."

Yuki Yuna is a Hero/Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha - Only seen the first season of YukiYuna, but.... I think it is doable. Explain that the YukiYuna world was just becoming magical when hit by a dimensional quake. The Shinju are actually a Lost Logia-style supercomputer that dimensionally shunted the town away and into the dimensional sea, and then got completely lost. Maybe falling into a proto-universe, breaching Infinite Space, etc. The end of the first season of YukiYuna allowed the Shinju to finally get their bearings, and the temporary powerdown of the girls was because it was getting Shanshu back to a stable dimension and a habitable planet. The TSAB picks up on Shanshu returning to more normal space, and send someone to investigate. Namely.... Yuuno! Antics from there.

Sailor Moon (old animated)/Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha - my thought was that that Usagi gets an idea while watching Mamoru and friends play pool. The Great Freeze was caused by some planetoid flying close to the planet, and the Senshi had to deflect it. While Pluto could not get the exact timing or source of the planetoid before the deflection, she does know how they deflected it and it's path. So Usagi has Ami plot that into the Mercury Computer and figure out where the planetoid came from. They confirm (with Neptune and Mars having "a bad feeling"), and decide to go fix the problem early. They get out there and the planetoid is actually Metallia's "sister". At full health. And coming for revenge. This surprise is why the problem was not handled early in the original future timeline, because the thing was screwing with scrying checks to hide its nature until too late (the Outers had originally engaged, got blindsided by the sun-eater, and were being healed when the Inners had to redirect the thing. They were later gone during the Black Moon's attack because they were off trying to finish it off). So there is a big fight, the Metallia-nee-san does a last ditch black hole, the Senshi escape, and find out years/decade has passed since they left. They decide to get on with their lives as best they can (Usagi Silver-Crystaled Chibiusa's existence), and a few years later run into Nanoha due to various things. Go from there.

Angelic Layer/Gundam Build Fighters (Try would probably be the best era) - not too crazy. Have Angelic Layer occur first, and have the Angels start to slow down in development as Icchan finally gets the funds needed to show the medical community he has a viable prosthetics system for people with major nerve damage. Given the choice between making dolls and helping people walk or hold their children again, he went with the latter. The Piffle company slows down, Mashita sets up his Gunpla company, Plavsky particles and the like are cheaper than the Angels to make, and the Piffle Princess stores are good locations for the Gunpla stores (power, space for the matches, etc.) so Mashita's company starts buying them out. So the Piffle Princess company becomes a specialist shop within some of the normal Gunpla stores.

To get the series started, have a little girl talking to an older woman about dolls, and then have her brother and friends mock the little girl for not going into Gunpla. The older woman gets upset, and wishes she can challenge them to a duel to settle things. Icchan pops out, and offers to frankenstein the local Gunpla ring to handle both Angels and Gunpla (old Piffle Princess location with some of their old rings in a store room). The boys accept, because their Gunpla have guns and missiles and all.

Suzuhara Shuko sits down across from the boys and gives a beautiful smile as Icchan switches her prosthetics off to handle the Angel. The Goddess of Victory Athena descends. The hearts of the boys go pitter-pat. The fight starts.

Athena shows that she's basically a mid-teir Dragonball character, slapping bullets aside, tossing missiles back, and tearing through the Gunpla like she's a G Gundam fighter. Total curbstomp in her favor.

Basically, the Angelic Layer crew end up getting together to reminisce afterwards, and decide to enter the Gunpla tournaments with specially tuned Angels to show that girls/dolls are still great.

Angelic Layer/Neon Genesis Evangelion - during Shinji's wanderings in episode 4, he comes across a Piffle Princess store, and gets scammed into a fight. Shinji does fairly well, running with someone else's Angel, due to the fact that the interface/control method is so much like an EVA's. With nothing else appropriate coming from NERV, Shinji ends up picking up the hobby as the EVA combat training he desparately needs. Misato humors him because it at least socializes him some more, Maya gets drafted to actually take him to the tournaments and help him out mechanically (mostly due to holding the wrong magazine at the wrong time), Kensuke thinks it is a bit weird that Shinji's playing with dolls, and Touji is cool with it because he's actually watched matches with his little sister. It's mostly a background thing until the 7th Angel, when they realize that Shinji really has been picking up combat skills from it. Asuka will obviously blow a gasket as soon as she realizes what is happening.

Meanwhile, on the Angelic Layer side, there's a strong new contender in that region, and its a boy, but it seems hit and miss what challenges and tournaments he goes to, even leaving in the middle of one with no notice. So there is a bit of a mystery there.

Neon Genesis Evangelion/Puella Magi Madoka Magica - two genre deconstructions together! Rei, at a youngish age, asked about the weird white cat-things, and misinterpreted Gendo's reply to mean "Destroy them if you see them." And thus, Tokyo 3 has a very low magical girl count because Rei keeps killing Incubator terminals. Most of her classmates have seen her punting invisible things and the like, adding to her mystique.

Asuka's the one that got away - the Incubators realized they would have gotten a ton of energy if they had Asuka as a magical girl before her mother killed herself. Sadly, they missed her, and the optimal time had gone, and Asuka had commited herself to being an EVA pilot by the time the Incubators decided to try anyway. This was a problem, because obviously only crazy people would see something like the Incubators, and crazy people would never be allowed to pilot an EVA, and Asuka is going to be an EVA pilot. So she cannot be crazy, thus she cannot see Incubators. And so Asuka just ignores the Incubators whenever they show up. And she sees no reason to bring up the strange alternate worlds she keeps walking into, the various bizarre beasts and things she finds within, the colorful girls she assists, nor the "witches" she kills to anyone at NERV because that is crazy talk, and Asuka is not crazy, she's an EVA pilot.

That's right. Asuka is not only catnip to witches, she has a 100% kill rating on them, has the most kills of witches on the planet despite not being magical, and is in complete denial about it all happening. Meanwhile, numerous magical girl fanclubs for her exist (Asuka gives away Seeds, and she's saved magical girls from witches), randomly gets stopped by strange girls that seem to want to thank her and get her autograph, and Kaji's convinced she's inherited all of his and Misato's swag.

Not certain what to do with Shinji.

Gunbuster/Gurren Lagann - Gunbuster mistakes Gurren Lagann troops for members of the Great Attractor. Gurren Lagann thinks the Gunbuster gang are a group of Anti-Spirals. Things get tense before Jung Freud sees Simon the Digger stepping forth from the Gurren Lagann lines. In space. Without a suit.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventures/Buffy the Vampire Slayer - the Scooby gang is racing against a group of vampires looking to kill an old mystic martial arts master. Meanwhile, this senile old man with a baby girl keeps showing up in the strangest places and rambles on about the most strange tall tales. Yes, that's "Diamond is Breakable"-era Joseph Joestar along with Achtung Baby giving completely true accounts of his life while hunting the vampires hunting him.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventures/Fate/Grand Order - "Your actions risk the integrity of human history! So tell me, Disciples of Dio! Do you have enough punch-ghosts? Xuanzuang! St. Martha! Beowulf!"

Cthulhu/Scooby Doo = Cthully Lhully Hoo. Here's a hint - Everyone understands the Dog because he's an eldritch abomination, and Fred is Cthulhu in a neckerchief.

I always thought that classic Dracula felt a bit Lovecraftian, you know, minus any tentacles.
