    "A lasting scar"

As if we haven't had enough of those in the last few years.

    How about a lasting triumph?

Nice to see him so high on Felicia...but there's not one mention of MJ.

Honestly, I'm more surprised when someone actually brings up and hypes up Mary Jane as being important (like Insomniac).

To be fair, Insomniac's Spider-Man game is way more important to the overall public perception of the franchise as a whole than any actual comic book.

Ryan Ottley's art is of course looking fantastic, but what's still grabbing me most is Laura Martin's colours. I'm loving just how bright and vibrant everything looks, especially with the use of the oranges. And we're getting 40 pages of this right off the bat! We're being spoiled

Everything Spencer says in this interview has me hyped. Sounds like he has a perfect grasp on Spidey and a clear plan on where the book is going.

I think it's going to be a terrific run.

glad to hear some people are hype for this i was under the impression many are skeptical of his run due to his work on Captain America

I am looking forward Amazing Spider-Man by Spencer, dunno if i will be just getting the first issue or if i keep Amazing Spider-Man in my pull list.
That will depend of how much i will like the first issue, but so far the articles, interviews and the art of the new volume of ASM is making me guess that i will not be disapointed with the stories.
I have never read any comic books illustrated by the artist of the new volume of Amazing Spider-Man before but after googling for other comics he illustrated and the preview pages of ASM#1 that have been revealed so far i think i might be proven wrong in regards of whether he was a good choice to be the artist or not.First i thought he had a too much cartoony art style, but these preview pages of ASM:1 is making me think that my opinion was more of a uninformed opinion and that in fact i might be pleasently surprised to see i was wrong about the choice of the new artist of Marvel.
