Should the school be closed?

The school should stay open but move to a place with less blind spots, and less civilians surrounding them so they can test there powers. Also there needs to be more branches in other parts of the world.

I have said this for years. The "school" should be in Westchester (not in the middle of Central Park which is THE dumbest thing x-writers have done in years), but the real campus should be somewhere else. Use the mansion as the face of the school, but have the students all off at the real campus in say Genosha, Canada, or the American southwest or any place more isolated with teleporters liking the two. They could not only fortify the campus more if they were isolated but have more room to let the kids really learn how to use their powers. Plus if they were not around so many people them fortifying the campus would not freak people out and make them think think the mutants are preparing for something.

It has been shown too many times that them trying to follow Xaviers "dream" and be totally open with general public just ends up in kids getting killed.

I think the school should be a central campus that is used as a headquarters and entry level to the school. It's primary mission would be to help mutants gain enough control over their mutations that they can functional normally in society. Once this goal is achieved they can move on and live productive lives. Basically i think the school should be a learning facility, temporary hospice, and be a relief area for mutants.

!st every X-man student that graduates does not make them a automatic X-man, but they can be recognized as someone that has gone thru trainging to be able to control their mutations.

It is past time for the X-teams to leave the mansion and establish their own bases of operation. This frees the school up to be so much more than what it has been,without taking anything away from the X-teams besides a convenient base.

So Westchester's Mansion would basically be the Hall of Justice? You just described exactly what's going on in Justice League. The HOJ is a public front, and the three JL teams and the Titans use teleporters to get to where they need to be and to other bases.

I think Emma should open a School hidden somewhere and much better protected and which much less expousre.. Jean and her X Men should get the public light and allow Emma some privacy where to raise and teach students (and maybe some blackops...). Now it is just the opposite and it is plain silly. The fighting squad with the heavy hitters like Jean, Namor and Storm hidden in the Oceans and the School in the middle of Central Park open to attacks from any looser (see the pathetic level Purifiers blackmailing this poor Hermann guy for an easy entrance in a school packed with children). The X Men are irresponsible and very much guilty of any student death (poor Belén! She was much better protected in Spain!). Shame on Kitty! but what was to be expected from her anyway.

As Blue and red both have another base, so should Gold.

The students of the New X-Men Generation (Anole, Hellion, Trance, Surge, Indra, Pixie, Blindfold, Kid Omega, Mercury, the Cuckoos, Rockslide, Dust, Match) should get a base of their own and go on missions with rotating cast.

Teachers should be Kitty (get her of Gold and let het be a head mistress), Colossus, Moonstar, Beast, Doc Rao, Doc Nemesis, Jeffries and Danger.

Kids devided in 2 grades;
A (ones that are more experienced, but need school and training) : Generatiopn Hope, BlinG! Glob Herman, Kid Gladiator, Shark-Girl, Sprite, Glob Herman, Hijack, Triage
B (younger kids): Ziggy Karst, Rico, Nature Girl, Morph, Eyeboy, Hindsight, Kid Krakoa, Melanie, Zach
