Not having followed the JL in any of its previous iterations, I really liked this first issue. I liked how verbose and dense it was that I actually had to do re-read to get a clearer sense of how the various plots were playing out...I do enjoy re-reading my comics a few times well, if they're really good, and this one was very good. I'm actually looking forward to the next issues.
