I loved Kieron Gillen's Uncanny X-Men, Matt Fraction's Hawkeye, Johnathan Hickman's Avengers saga, that's all I've got off the top of my head.

Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four & Avengers in particular.
What we used to call life has very little worth these days. Welcome to the very edge.

Favorite Rogue writers are probably Carey and Duggen. X-Men writers are CC, Gillen, Marjorie Liu, Sina Grace (early but so far), Kyle & Yost, Peter David, and (in some aspects) Morrison.

    If we're talking current writers:

Kelly Thompson, who's killing on Hawkeye.
    G. Willow Wilson, of Ms. Marvel.
Ryan North, of Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.
Ta-Nehisi Coates, doing fascinating work on Black Panther.
Christina Strain, doing great work on Generation X.
Mariko Tamaki, who's doing great work on Hulk. (That first arc, in particular, has stuck with me in a big way.)
Saladin Ahmed, whose Black Bolt is one of the best comics coming out of Marvel right now.
    Al Ewing, who's always enjoyable.
Brandon Montclare, of Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur.
Kaare Andrews, of Immortal Iron Fists.

My top 10 currently at Marvel. I'm hopeful for more new favourites coming soon.

Currently?...Nobody. Of all-time? Well, there have been writers who've written one or two runs that I liked a whole lot, and there are writers who've written tons of stuff that I really, really liked. So for example I may get tons of joy from reading Priest's Black Panther and his current Deathstroke, but Ellis has written a whole lot more stuff I'd call "favorites". Using that metric, I'll go with... Hickman. I would've gone with Morrison as my "uber-favorite", but he's more of a DC guy, so Hickman's my "Marvel-Fave". From Secret Warriors to F4 and (the still unfinished) Shield, he's written way too many stuff I loved, and managed to use tons of my favorites while giving them feats and not treating them like dirt.

For me it's Warren Ellis, he's done some amazing work at Marvel especially in the early to mid 90s. I love his run on Doom 2099.

Jean really is the worst character in Marvel, isn't she?
    Scemma forever Triangle never.
Scott needs an alpha female like Bettsy.
What woman wouldn't be attracted to Scott? He's 100% alpha male who tells the Avengers to go f*#& themselves.
I want cyclops back free from any ginger women to be his own man.
    Logically..
TeenClops should have lusted for Emma & Cuckoos. Especially Stepford Cuckoos! They're teenage triplet clones of his hottest ex, how could he not be?
    End of rant

Of the guys still at Marvel, it’s Jason Aaron. His Thor Saga has been immense and it’s a nice long run which seems all too rare at Marvel these days. His Punisher Max book is one of my all time favourites and his Weirdworld book from Secret War was also awesome.

    Ewing pushes him pretty close.

They join Remender, Ellis and Hickman on the all time list.

Currently Soule. His Daredevil run is amazing as was his Inhumans one (outside the editorially mandated events)
Current Pull: Lazarus, The Realm, Seven to Eternity, Aquaman, Flash, Justice League Dark, Justice League Odyssey, Sideways, Black Panther, Captain America, Daredevil, Death of the Inhumans.

    Future Pull: Killmonger.

If you'd ask me months ago it'd be Peter David since I've had a fondness for his Spider-Man stuff, however as I read more and more modern comics it gets harder to decide. I'm going with Gerry Duggan. Started reading some of his work on Nova. Also loved his Uncanny Avengers and currently reading his GOTG. Great stuff!

Hands down it's Gerry Duggan right now. Deadpool and his Uncanny Avengers run. Both phenomenal.

    Honorable mentions: Soule, Remender, Hickman

Of all time? Claremont for X-Men/New Mutants/Excalibur and Byrne for Alpha Flight.

Currently? Sina Grace, Al Ewing, and G. Willow Wilson.
