Default What Happened to The Goddamned?

Simple question. Whatever happened to 'The Goddamned' by Jason Aaron and RM Guera?

I really enjoyed the first arc (Before the Flood) and thought a second arc was in the works ... did it get cancelled?

I would assume that means "We are working on it."

No telling when it actually will wind up on the store shelves.

    It got damned?
    Was damned from the start?
    People didn't give a damn?

Sorry couldn't help it. On the real though, I also enjoyed it for the most part but found Guerra's work a bit heavy. Though usually heavy (see Scalped), I think the nature of the world/universe in the Goddamned made it a bit too much. Also while recognised as fiction, it sometimes came across blasphemous.

Yeah, I have to say, I found the series to be waaay too unremittingly bleak and ugly for me. I loved Scalped and the premise of the series is great but I don't think I'll be rejoining the series if and when it returns.
