Some new informations from the underwhelming SDCC X-Men panel :
- The big villain of Return of Wolverine (the character we saw briefly in the Hunt one shot) is named Persephone
- Logan can't control the Heating function of his claws
- There might be a deeper mystery to Logan's resurrection
- Those heating claws are inspired by some old X-Men video games but for Charles Soules the main inspiration was the Marvel vs Capcom serie
One thing to note the goddess Persephone was also known as Soteira in some parts of Ancient Greece which means something like the "Savior Maiden" or the "Saving Goddess".

can't stop thinking, for what purpose?
I think this may be not a power up, but to make him weaker. Using his claws hurts him, burns him.
Yeah looking at this page it really seems the "hot claws" are hurting Logan which confirm Soule's statements that the "hot claws" are more of a curse than a new power up.
Maybe it's a price to pay for coming back from the dead, I just hope Soule knows what he's doing.
Context is king.
X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!
Good about that possibility. Logan didn't need another superpower. Damn near every villain jobs to him these days. So he had few threats. This new struggle could p[rove interesting.
On another note, yuck, I did NOT miss that costume...And with what Creed is now wearing, I hope they're not shown together anytime soon.
lol
It's gonna look as dated & corny as the show.
