Is Gotham City Sirens still on? Birds of Prey?

Really getting the feeling that these guys keep just throwing poop at the wall to see if it sticks.

Still waiting for any news of Green LANTERN corps. I think WW2 and flashpoint are the only things I'm confident are gonna happen and Flashpoint is one more lost director from folding probaly

Yeah I've learned "greenlit" doesn't mean "it's going to happen". It just means they can continue with production. Lots of movies are killed early in production.

    (It's still a terrible idea)

I expect them to announce a Legion of Doom movie that then never gets made .

At this point it seems like the DCEU is being run by star power and then they come up with everything else afterwards.

Gotham City Sirens seems to have somehow turned into Birds of Prey, far as I can tell... but the poop throwing wall analogy sounds about right.

...We can forgive Star Wars and Marvel for being ambitious with movie slates if Batman and Joker material in DC alone has so much in mind.
Don't forget Alfred Pennyworth tv show and Batwoman apparently joining Arrowverse.

Practically nobody was asking for this except Jared Leto.

It almost feels like right now WB is so directionless they are saying "yes" to any pitch by whatever B-list actor or director comes along.

As long as they keep the budget under 5 mil it should do fine. But we know that isn't going to happen tee-hee.

I am absolutely willing to give Leto another chance with the Joker. I'm cautiously positive about this.

He's a great actor, they just need to actually write a great movie and let him go to work.

Someone also needs to tell him that sending your co-stars used condoms does not prepare you for your role. Seriously, a lot of actors are hiding behind this "method acting" to just be huge dicks.

    Seems that way, to me.

They had something that was not a complete face plant. Based on that, they are running with it.
