Spidey tobey Spider-Man from the 90s films? Does that make this a unofficial Spider-Man 4?

The anime fan in me is happy to see Peni Parker.
Reading List (Super behind but reading them nonetheless):
DC: Currently figuring that out
Marvel: Read above
Image: Killadelphia, Nightmare Blog
Other: The Antagonist, Something is Killing the Children, Avatar: TLAB
Manga: My Hero Academia, MHA: Vigilanties, Soul Eater: the Perfect Edition, Berserk, Hunter X Hunter, Witch Hat Atelier, Kaiju No. 8
Just incredible. Every frame that we've seen so far could be made into a print. My sincere thanks to everyone involved in making this movie happen. Can't wait to see it!
Co-host of Ultimate Spin - the Spider-Fan podcast for Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen!
And check out our in-depth podcast interviews with their creators!
Just watched Grace Randolph's review of Venom, she confirms at the end of the movie is a five minute preview of this
This film looks like it’s going to be an absolute joy! Can’t wait!!!
AKA FlashFreak
Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.
Current Pulls: Not a thing!
I retwatched the trailer and saw the bill in the restaurant scene. That food is highway robbery.
The prior trailers convinced me to see the movie.
the latest one convinced me to be hyped for it
Worth noting that the comics version of her is nowhere near as perky as the movie seems to be, being an Evangelion homage.
But it seems that movie version is rocketing to be everyone's favorite already:
The 'before' stats are just the people who viewed the wiki pages on the day prior, not all time, by the way.
Also, poor Gwen is dead last. Ouch.
I wouldn't feel too sad for Gwen. After all these are the results of page views, which basically means these results show the level of curiosity potential movie goers who saw the newest trailer have in the characters who have had less media exposure than the others. Spider-Gwen, Miles, Peter, and Noir have been featured heavily in both comics, cartoons, and games so its only natural more people already know about them.
Peni Parker on the other hand is a real fresh-faced creation, so seeing how many people are curious about her and want to know more is a real positive sign on the characters potential to stick around for the long haul in the MU, in whatever media form she takes. Also it means more butts in seats when the movie actually releases.

Yeah, I don't think Gwen being last is a big deal, just because she's had so much attention already, so not that many people would need to look her up. Would be curious to know how high she was when she was first revealed in the previous Spider-Verse trailer.
It is great to see how popular Peni has gotten, very curious to see if Marvel will fast-track a SP//dr ongoing if the popularity continues.
