Update on How the New Mutants Are Being Treated

IWho knows where Magma is. Dani is supposedly back at the school....she appeared at Nightcrawler's welcome home party in his solo title but that's about it. She and Magik are probably the two NM females with the biggest fan base so it's a little surprising she hasn't shown up somewhere yet. The fact that Firestar is getting publication space over these characters is a travesty imo. Why? Because the New Mutants were actually well developed characters, 3 dimensional with character flaws and growth. Most of Xavier's student body now are very cardboard with no noticeable personality. E.g., Cipher, can she please get wacked?

Seriously, tho... it is a travesty to see what has happened to the New Mutants, but to be fair the same has happened to nearly all of the "teen" mutants that have been created since their initial debut. If anything, we should just be glad that most of them are still alive given the mortality rate of any "young" mutant created post-Claremont.

From Danielle Moonstar and Illyana Rasputin to Quentin Quire and "Eye-Boy" -- it's hard to see this as progress.

No he didn't there is another character named Cipher that debuted during Young X-Men.
