I just thought the three joker idea was an homage to that batman beyond movie about tim drake becoming the joker thanks to the originals experiments on him. But having the 3 jokers represent the multiverse could be fun as well. Though yeah I agree as one shot and with continuity being fractured as it is it could be easily retconned sometime
Yes, to this. The Joker could also be one mind or spirit that has inhabited different bodies. The spirit of "The Trickster", which Joker fits differently than Riddler, to me at least.
Finally taking some risks in main continuity and not shoving it under elsewords or something.
More of this please DC especially in Batbooks.
"Yes...Mondo Cool"- Vegeta.
It's ridiculous how long they made us wait for this thread to pay off. Wasn't Darkseid War in 2015?
Has DC scheduled a date yet for when the first issue will be coming out?
Last I heard was possibly sometime this winter?
On Geoff Johns Homepage it just says 2019.
NYCC gives us more info on the Three Jokers:
-Geoff Johns is the writer, Jason Fabok is the artist
-Batman, Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), and Red Hood (Jason Todd) are the main characters
-The Jokers are the Original Appearance Joker, the Classic/60s Joker, and the Killing Joke Jokers
-Interior artwork revealed includes the Red Hood mask resting in front of a bloodstained grave, one of the Jokers covered in blood, someone removing a classic Red Hood mask from a smiling man’s head, and the grave of Thomas Wayne.
-Doesn't currently have a release date, but Johns hopes it will debut sometime this winter.
