Default Brimstone (no, not that one)

Just bfore COIE, there was a special issue of Brave and bold with a (sort of) team up of earth 1 and earth 2 Batman; the villain was an ersatz golden age foe who called himself Brimstone and his gimmick was "devil crimes". This would be canon now with the return of a multiverse?

Why would it automatically be "canon" now?

Did Rebirth / Metal / Doomsday Cluck cause EVERYTHING that occurred from 1930s through pre-Flashpoint to suddenly overwrite everything and anything since the start of the New 52?

We still don't know what is / what isn't / what will be / what won't be kept or eliminated or revamped yet, and I doubt DC does, either. Until some writer decides to make it related to a story published in the future, there's no guarantee of anything with regard to "canon".

Was Doomsday Cluck a typo or a joke? Either way that's funny.

Would anyone like it to be canon? It was an excellent story.
