Default Frying pan or rolling pin?

Which best suits old timey cartoon houswives?

As an Italian American male either one of those could be culpable for my brain damage.

There's something inherently funny about being nailed with something meant to roll out dough.

Depends on whether she just wants to get hubby's attention or meting out some punishment for spending the house payment at the track.

Both work for me, but based on nothing but my memories I wanna say rolling pin might have been used more often in things like Al Capp.

I prefer the pan because it's like a mold for the head.

Depends on how much baking vs. cooking they do . . .

Depends if you prefer the big round flat face or the big U shaped dent.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I mean who's on the business end? A lazy boozing cartoon husband like Barney Google or maybe Tom from Tom and Jerry... Actually either way the rolling pin I feel works best. My wife has an old school cast iron skillet and in the real world or the cartoon world it takes forearm strength to swing and wield that thing like Vernita Green does a knife in Kill Bill.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?
    You bet yer ass.

I think I like the bong sound fx of the pan more than the pin, as well.

Wilma Flintsone used frying pans, the wife in Looney Tunes "Wild Wife" used a rollin pin marked "his".
