    Sadly I realized I will be out of town starting tomorrow until next week. If by some miracle I win, I will be crushed as I will be missing it.
    I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
    A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

    Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
    Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

    I'm not "master of the game." I'm just the goof-ball who thought it would be helpful to keep a record of the contest information.

    Thanks for the suggestion and to ChadH for volunteering. But yes, I won't be by my computer, and while I could use my children's laptop, that is iffy. Easier to be without for a week.

    Daredevil #181 - I chose this one for sentimental reasons, one of my very first comics. Man, that was a heavy comic for an eleven-year old kid, as were the previous issues.

    Iron Maiden, because that's the first FF comic I ever bought (well, it was the cover for the Marvel's Greatest Comics reprint, at any rate).
