I think it's interesting that Feige specified "Mutants" instead of X-Men.

I wonder if that means we'll see them start sprinkling Mutants into the movies and build up to the formation of the X-Men?

I hope this means the Gambit Movie is still alive.

Lol no way they will skip on Wolverine and Xavier. Logan is just too popular and Xavier is necessary.

Magneto maybe as they're not doing the iconic Spidey villains, but I still kinda doubt it.

Nice to hear the news about the mutants in the MCU. While I liked Dark Phoenix overall on my second viewing but Fox’s interference robbed us of a two parter with the Shi’Ar and screwed the movie by moving it to June. I appreciate that Disney tried to help it with a last minute marketing push and they have my respects. They deserve the rights and the film makers of Dark Phoenix feel the same way.

Apparently Kevin Feige read the two-part script. Hope they do a MCU version of it someday in the distant future.

Wolverine is fine. At most, he won't appear in the first film. Xavier probably will show up, but will be much less important. Magneto will be saved for later movies. Mystique might appear as a villain in Cap. Marvel and serve to introduce Kurt and Rogue, but will be much less important. Jean might appear, but no Phoenix for sure.
