No, he didn't. He said if this had been a possibility AT THE TIME HE WAS MAKING LOGAN he may have reconsidered his decision to retire, but he NEVER said he would return once he hung it up.

Yeah Jackman is out, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet. He's getting a bit older and Marvel Studios will want a young dude for a lot of movies over the years.

Hugh Jackman turns 50 this year. Anyone thinking he'll be the Wolverine in the MCU is deluding themselves. He's too old and the next Logan will be cast closer to 30

Are we talking about the same MCU that has Robert Downey, JR, who is definitely more than 30 as Tony Stark?

Wolverine was never meant to be a young character. He's not a grandfather, but he definitely can be played well by someone in good shape in their 50s.

Particularly if they aren't going to do any more love triangles, and if they are going to include more of X-23, there's no reason not to have Hugh Jackman for Wolverine for a little while longer.

Harrison Ford played Indiana Jones in his 70s. Okay that's a bit extreme, but male action actors can work till a surprisingly good old age.

He's still hot....but they need someone younger to keep the franchise going. They couldn't have Wolverine & Jean at this point it'd be too creepy

Harrison played him in his 60s but thats besides the point. Ford wasnt required to take off his shirt nor be in shape the way a role like Wolverine demands. Besides that film was more of a passing the torch onto someone younger to move the franchise forward, which Jackman already did with Logan. He's not coming back to kick off a brand new set of films. You're deluding yourself if think they are gonna want Jackman to play Wolverine for the next several years as he himself ages towards 60. He already was tired of the training all that involved. It'll only be harder now as he's past his peak

They may or may not hire an old guy to play Wolverine, but I am pretty damn sure Jackman is not signing up for another whole series of X-Men films. He said he'd consider coming back to be in an Avengers movie, not a decade worth of movies.

To reiterate, that's not even what he said. He said he would have reconsidered retiring if it were an option AT THE TIME. But it wasn't, so he's done.

Highly doubt they would rehire HJ for Logan in the MCU, I expect a whole new franchise from top to bottom...

Analysts Think That Comcast Will Make a Counteroffer for Fox

    https://www.bleedingcool.com/2018/07...offer-for-fox/

It turns out the drama of the Fox-Disney deal isn’t over yet. The voting is due to take place on the 27th and Fox seems to have agreed to the deal. However, it sounds like people believe that Comcast could swoop in to make a last minute counteroffer. According to Business Insider several analysts believe that this bidding war isn’t over.

“I do think that it’s likely,” RBC Capital Markets analyst Steven Cahall said.In a note sent out to clients, Cahall predicted Comcast could indeed make another bid. “Comcast will similarly approach Fox focused on post-RSN leverage so we wouldn’t be surprised to see Disney and Comcast bidding into the $40s,” he wrote.

yeah i totally agree with it--the reason Pietro and Wanda survived was because they already had powers and Tesseract unlocked the powers. also, can easily retcon them being adopted by a Sokovian couple at a young age. Magneto would come looking for Wanda and Pietro (with Pietro being dead, of course).

    Yes, me too.

By the way, who would you pick to be Storm on the big screen?

How would you imagine her? And how powerful she would be?

You saw Thor at the 'Avengers Infinity War' movie? I thought he was pretty cool.
