Yeah, that's not a complete mess. This book continues to be a garbage fire born of a train wreck.

Even with that spoiler making it look like an accident, there's no excusing so many out of character moments and poor execution throughout. This book is beautifully drawn, but that's all it's got going for it in the positive column.

I don't want to pass complete judgment on a book from a preview, but to imply this is somehow - even indirectly - the result of Linda essentially rejecting Wally is kinda unreal to see.

Eight out of nine books in, I've basically formulated an opinion on it based on its flaws thus far. A hail Mary could redeem it a bit, but that doesn't change a lot of what's happened thus far and I don't have faith that's what's going to happen.

This book could honestly destroy my hype and interest for YJ tbh. Like why support a company that destroys their own characters? Not even trash characters but profitable characters they destroy so easy.

I can understand that...
I also liked Wally West and I find it very annoying that now Barry is the Mr. Perfect even I dont like him and I was always a Wally Fan....

I also thougt about quitting DC before they were announcing the YJ Return...
And also at the moment I find it annoying that they are bringing up new characters with extreme powers etc.

But on the other hand I dont hope that YJ will suffer because of this, YJ also had a very bad time and were left out for long time....
