I don't really see the need for the marriage title, but this is the best ship in comics and I'd rather read about their wedding than Kittylossus's.

If they are, I don’t really understand why Marvel would choose to market Kitty and Piotrs wedding instead, knowing full well that Rogue and Gambit are the more popular couple and have even brought back lapsed readers with the mini. Surely the wedding of the latter two would bring in more sales than Kitty and Colossus? In fact, I’m personally considering getting the wedding issue to see if I can any more of Rogue and Gambit.

The speculation is funny. I still can't see marvel giving all the the marketing and (most importantly) sales potential of a G+R wedding, just for the surprise factor.

I mean, a character literally called X was just "created" in Astonishing X-Men. Would Mr and Mrs X be a better title than Rogue and Gambit if the book was really about them? Wouldn't it be confusing with X's new mission statement and apparent relevance? Maybe Kelly Thompson really is writing a Xavier and Mystique book and it's classified because they needed Astonishing to wrap up?

If Mr. and Mrs. X is about X then his female companion would be Psylocke. Otherwise it would make the ending of Astonishing pointless.
