Default Escanor (Seven Deadly Sins) vs MCU Thor

As noted above, Thor with Stormbreaker vs Escanor with Rhitta

If Thor is too much, Escanor can become "The One"

    Who wins?

What time of day does the fight start at?

Thor doesn't want none of Escanor. At not even close to his full power, attacks that obliterate multiple mountain tops simply with the blowback of them hitting barely break his skin.

That and he is much, much faster.

This thread actually prompted me to go back and run through Escanor's notable moments.

A conclusion that I arrived at is that The One is far too much for this battle. Please find below a small bit of algorithm-ing for power.

    - Base Meliodas - Casually cuts large stone hillock/small mountain in half by waving a twig /at it/. Razes entire castles to the ground by wrestling in them. Hurls magically empowered spears across the country.

When fighting Ban at Vaizel, Ban drains away all of Base Meliodas' strength into himself to the point where Meliodas is as strong as like a toddler while had Base Meliodas' strength added to his own.

    - Demon-powered Base Meliodas - Blitzes and significantly overpowers Ban + Base Meliodas' strength.

    Enter Galand.

    - Galand - Destroys half an entire town by swinging his spear at it, dodges teleportation magic by dashing multiple miles in an instant to get out of Merlin's range, Demon-powered Base Meliodas can't even hurt him and essentially gets wrecked by him.

Meliodas then reclaims his true power.

    - True power Meliodas - Effortlessly manhandles Galand, blitzes him, overpowers him, doesn't see him as a threat. With his demon power buff he eats multiple mountain busting attacks in succession without much issue, gets blasted multiple miles across the landscape with minimal damage.

Compare this to roughly 1/2 power Escanor.

    - Halfish power Escanor - Blitzes Galand, cuts him in half with ease. Takes an attack that not only destroys the mountain that they the cave they are standing in is built into but it also destroys multiple mountain tops miles away from the shockwave and it barely breaks his skin. Galand is noted as having problems even lifting Escanor's axe.

There's more stuff but I think the point is somewhat made that Halfish-power Escanor is somewhat equivalent to True Power Meliodas.

However, when Escanor and Meliodas fought; Meliodas had gotten a further powerup, having lost his emotions and unlocked even greater power and Escanor was approaching full power. So both were stronger but the results were very different.

While approaching full power, Escanor is unable to hurt Meliodas significantly. He gets mostly manhandled, somewhat blitzed and is losing badly. Even at like 11:59 (essentially the peak of his nominal power) he is still losing and is, at most, amusing Meliodas.

The second he goes to The One (12 Noon) he moves utterly beyond Meliodas' ability to hurt and then smacks him out of mid-blitz attempt and one shots him with Divine Sword Escanor.

TL;DR - The One is like... at a level where a being that casually monsters on dudes who considers mountain busting attacks effectively papercuts is one-shot/no threat. Thor don't want none of that madness.

Looks like a stomp for Escanor....
