Doesn't Reed have Tech to like Dimension dump the Big-G? Or Dump him into the Microverse?

Scenario 2: Should be a standard win for the FF, because Reed will have access to his full toybox. Ben, Johnny, and Sue will keep Godzilla busy just long enough for Reed to throw together some prototype to deal with Godzilla. Maybe dump him in the Negative Zone or send him back in time or into an alternate universe.

Scenario 1: Probably a win for Godzilla, given that the FF struggled to deal with a shrunken down version of Godzilla:

Couldn't Sue just open a bubble in Godzilla's head and be done with it?

That's my thinking. As I recall, Godzilla might be a bit outside the other 3's capabilities.

For the second scenario, I would think Reed could think of something deal with the big G.

Godzilla might have trouble dealing with the menfolk if Sue turns then invisible as well.

What's the toughest thing Sue has hurt with that sort of forcefield application?

With tech, it is a easy win for the F4. While not in this movie, many Godzilla versions have been taken out by tech such as the Oxygen Destroyer, special torpedos or Cadmium based munitions. Reed certainly can equal them.

In just a fight with powers vs. Godzilla. Just flying around and pounding on him is not a good strategy. Full nova flame to his eyes, perhaps or a forcefield suffocation might be useful. Stretching and punching - not so useful.

Is NYC empty? Because if the F4 is remotely in character minimizing civilian casualties make both scenarios vastly harder

Unless something changed, bloodlust is always on so civilian casualties aren't an issue.
