Default Who are Marvel's Top 3 Villainesses?

they noticeably got no love in the top 3 villains thread. i guess that makes sense because of the reader demographics. but I'm expecting a little more diversity in answer, this time. so who deserves the top (3) spot?

i actually have no preference on this one. if i had to guess...

    Hela
    White Queen
    Mystique

    or

Elektra (does she even count anymore?)
    Black Cat
    Selene

    or

    Enchantress
    Superia
    Viper and/or Madame Masque

this is going to be tough. maybe two of these characters have made as big of an impact as someone like Doom or Magneto. there just aren't that many attempts by villainesses to take over the world. they usually aim lower.

We lost all the good villainesses during the "every bad guy's a good guy now" purge.

    Nebula's a good call

i feel like Crimson Cowl peaked early and never regained her mojo

and Joystick just hasn't done anything that I'd consider to be greatness. she's a lackey. she worked for Crimson Cowl. and i really like the character.

first two definitely. I'd like to hear more about your reasoning on Sin. she's kind of a weak imitation of her father, in a lot of ways. i thought that she was being promoted during Fear Itself. but she wasn't really in control of herself.

if you want to include her. but I'd say that Karla Sofen was the better villainess ms.marvel. and Minerva would outrank her as well.

Morgana's really the only one of those 3 with a powerbase. Zaladane was really only a threat to a small group of mutants. and Warrior Woman was certainly a threat. but she was also a lackey.

As far as "major" female villains...I think Hela is probably the biggest one.

I think Madame Masque was a bigger deal before she became focused on taking down Kate Bishop.

Marvel tried to make Black Cat their most prominent, street-level, female villain but the "Queenpin" was extremely unpopular with her fans and she was generally a pretty terrible crime boss.

Moonstone deserves at least an honorable mention. Madame Hydra/Viper is a contender, and we mustn't forget Umar.

Mostly because of Fear Itself, one of the few stories with a Female Big Bad or at least kind of. I forgot about Selene so I think I will probably replace Sin with her.
