I enjoyed Injustice 1 so this should be good, even if I'm not completely sold on the gear idea. Also looks like Black Mantra is a stage transition attack rather than a character, which I imagine is going to disappoint some people who hoped he would be playable. Grodd and Kara look amazing though, as does the Metropolis and Atlantis stages! Seems like Atlantis will have multiple sections this time, and Metropolis is more like the classic design, which would suggest if this is the Injustice universe that they've rebuilt away from Regime Supe's image as evident by the Lexcorp diggers in the outside arena. Also a bar?

Love the trailer and the story, but I didn't really care for the first game. Telling a story through a fighting game can work, as Mortal Kombat has shown. But I don't think it worked as well here. I thought the concept worked better as a comic book series than anything else. I hope there's another tie-in comic here, given how successful the first one was with Tom Taylor. Also hope to see more Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and maybe a few other members of the Titans.

Her face looks horrible, but at this point I just accept Netherrealm can't draw women. Every female character in every fighter they've made since they went 3D look kinda awful.

Idk, Super Girl is leaps and bounds better than recent attempts at women, faces or otherwise.

I do love some of the opening dialogue in the fights, and Supergirl is a sassy lady.

Supergirl: You gonna spit up on me, Atrocitus?
Atrocitus: Irritating female!
Supergirl: You know who else does that? Babies!

Atrocitus: You can wear a red ring!
Supergirl: Red jewellery's kinda for old ladies!
Atrocitus: Mock me at your peril!

Interesting last one, suggesting that Supergirl has been absent for some time? Also suggests she starts off on Clark's side. Also interested if the Prime Universe is involved in this game or not. So far it just seems to be the Injustice Universe.

Yeah no I've grown accustomed to the fact that they are pretty bad with drawing women, but Supergirls face in particular looks absolutely atrocious. She looks like a bloated China doll...

They should do a touch up, like they did with Cassie Cage in MKX, before release.
