It's Father's Day here in the USA. A day for honoring the good dads everywhere. So why not salute the good dads in comics?
Who are some of the best fathers (or father - figures) in comics? Bonus points if they are still active characters.
Dads who die due to "origin" are hard to judge.
Jor-El, Thomas Wayne, and Richard Parker didn't get the chance to raise Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man (respectively) to adulthood.
Jonathan Kent, Alfred Pennyworth, and Ben Parker did, however, even if none of them were the biological fathers of those superheroes. And each of these three are held up as paragons of paternal guidance.
Who else joins these three in the Parthenon of Great Comic Book Dads?
Oh, and Happy Father's Day to all the dads on here doing right by their kids!
