Who Gets Warped? (New Event?)

imagine if dc had joined the fun for amalgamation 2 and the bat beetle, the demon tiger (Etrigan + Bronze tiger) the dark hawk (Raven + Hawkgirl) Felix the terminator ( Felix Faust and deathstroke) taking on these fusions.

To be honest, I remember feeling the Professor X was just tacked on (mostly for a surprise helmet-removal reveal). Having Strange and Doctor Fate combined alone was maybe too obvious.

I do remember their combined look being one of the nicest looking Amalgam designs (mostly as a palette swap of the base Doctor Fate design as far as I can tell tho).

I do remember their combined look being one of the nicest looking Amalgam designs (mostly as a palette swap of the base Doctor Fate design as far as I can tell tho).

One of the reasons for that I think is, for me, the pencils of the underappreciated José Luis García-López. And the White Witch costume was pretty cool as well.

Oh yes, really loved that one. I'm a fan of Jade Nova's look too even though it was really simple, but the whole character concept worked well IMO.

And then you have characters like that Wolverine + Batman mash-up which was literally too edgy LMAO.

Maybe Cebulski, Ewing and Ramos can warp Jen Walters in her current "Hulk" form with someone with "Woman" in their name so we'd get "She-Woman" with a classic feminine body.

How about She-Hulk and Captain Marvel and call her Captain Smash.

Here's what it's all about

Marvel has revealed the nature of its previous "#WhoGetsWarped" promo images with the announcement of Infinity Warps, a series of one-shots focused on the mashed-up "warped" heroes.

The first two one-shots will focus on Iron Man/Thor mash-up Iron Hammer and Captain America/Doctor Strange combo Soldier Supreme. The characters themselves will apparently debut in September's Infinity Wars #3, the solicitation for which mentions reality "warping" around Marvel's heroes thanks to the Infinity Stones.

Why is it just them standing there? Nothing is particularly dynamic about the Iron Hammer cover. Because the bright yellow is on-top of a bright red, our attention is being drawn towards Iron Hammer, or should I say Iron Hammer's torso. Nothing particularly moves the eye around the piece because the arcs from the hammer just stop at about 2/3rds of the way.

I just hope the plot is better than the artwork.
