    He's not as fast and yes they will lose him if they want to, but its cool to see him acting. He can only catch up to talk with them briefly, but its more than anyone else can do.

    Sure, but the point is he can reach them for a moment. Sometimes that moment makes all the difference. This being a Flash story about a conflict between two Flashes, it won't, but still it makes sense that he'd try and have a good show of it.
