A quote/line I can't remember

I've had this one line on my mind for quite a while now and I just can't remember where it's from. The line was said by Batman to Gordon and was vaguely along the lines of "Thank you for helping that kid in crime alley" I believe the circumstances involved either Batman's or Gordon's death.
