I wonder if this is really bad or just popular to say it's bad lol

The words I heard most in association with this film are "dull" and "boring". So it probably will just be super mediocre and not entertaining but not total trainwreck. Which is what I expected.

They needed to make this a bit more arthouse to succeed. You have a good lead actor, you can make it more horror chiller and play around with things instead of generic superhero stuff.

Sony made this movie not Marvel. They want a cinematic universe but Spider-Man is all they got. They are stretching what they have

Shouldn't it start on previews day (today in Morbius case, which is why it already has certified audience scores in Rotten Tomatoes)?

I've watched it myself, and was surprised to actually like Letorbius as a horror character. Problem being the rest of the movie working against him/that.

This really wasn't bad it's not the best thing I've ever seen and it's not going to change the world but I think it was kinda good considering it has a pretty low budget as far as cbm go (75+marketing so probably 100 million plus?) It's probably gonna do alright.

Film has a critic rt score of 18 but a aud score of 65! Sounds like another venom and addams family 2. Critics hated them but aud liked them.

Just came back from the movie and I have to say I liked it. I'd give it a B. IMO it's on the scale of the series on Disney +. I thought Jared Leto's performance was good. I was surprised by the short running time.

And surprised no one mentioned the end credits stuff
