The last time we saw Sage she was working with the Dazzler if I remember right, maybe the writer will pick up on that friendship again

The Sage/Dazzler link, from X-Treme, is a solid point in her favor. Similarly, Rosenberg was apparently pretty keen on the idea of it bein' Dani, he's writing the aforementioned Dead Souls & using her there, possibly hinted something and/or someone(s) Asgardian would be in play (Dazz's hammer?), and has a shared past with Warpath.

Siryn would work, as she already has a history with Warpath as well...they could be the team's couple and I'd be happy...better than he and Domino for sure...though yeah it should be another female member...

I think it's Dani. If she got her powers back from the Mothervine it makes sense to have Miss Sinister here. Perhaps she got a bad secondary mutation and they need Miss Sinister to cure Dani.

It's probably Emma, she has a past with pretty much all the members. If she isn't joining, she'll play a big role anyway.
If by some chance it ISN'T her, it needs to be another female. This team is too much of a sausage fest and the X-men have tons of great female characters they could use.
Psylocke, Monet and Frenzy are my top three picks.
Angel, Iceman and Banshee are the only male additions I'd like, but only after the gender disparity was fixed.

Emma would make sense. Revealing her now would spoil the next arc of X-Men Blue, so that'd be why they denied having plans. Also, she, along with Havok, has unfinished business with Miss Sinister.

Pretty sure it's been confirmed that Sage, Emma Frost, Psylocke & Bishop aren't the sixth X-Man.

Given it's promoted as a return, I'm thinking Banshee, Dani Moonstar or Sunfire are the most likely candidates. I'm dying to get Frenzy on a team too, but her powers are somewhat redundant with Colossus + Warpath on the team. Can't wait to find out!!
